Crestview offers support and enhanced security features for those who are dealing with the emotional and social challenges presented by dementia.
While the transition from home to Crestview can seem difficult at first, we are experienced at helping get our residents settled in while supporting families in transition. Residents who make their move during the earlier stages often result in a smoother transition; but no matter at what stage in the disease they are admitted the adjustment usually only takes a few weeks.
Crestview’s specialized care setting allows freedom for residents to move about both indoors or outdoors, while safeguarding people who are at risk for wandering. Crestview’s staff is trained to effectively address the challenging behaviors manifested by the Alzheimer’s Diseased/Dementia resident. The staff strives to help the resident maintain their highest level of physical and social functioning from early to late stages of the Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
